Here are just a few of the pies that graced our tastebuds during CookThatBook’s inaugural pie making competition! Many MANY thanks to my talented friend Ashley for playing photographer for the day. I was too busy eating pies.
Mr. Spock’s “Triple Threat Key Lime Pie” was a definite crowd favourite!
The “East Van Vegan” and “Double Chocolate Pudding Pie” tied for third place
A classic “Tarte Tatin” looked stunning
Mr. Spock’s Mom made three (!) pies, with the “Pecan Custard” coming in third place

For one of my entries I made The Pioneer Woman’s “Mocha Silk Pie” which was intense in all the right ways!
My other entry was a “Caramel Apple Pie” which was loved by all
