2/3 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
5 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup chopped (toasted) pecans
1 cup Morello cherries

In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Combine the egg, sour cream, butter and vanilla. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in white chocolate chips, pecans and cherries.

Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups three-fourths full. Bake at 350° for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.

Yield: 1 dozen.
